Construction
Every REVERT piece starts with the foundation.
If the base garment feels wrong, the design won’t save it.
Weight, structure, wash — all of it matters before a graphic is even considered.
Fabric & Weight
Each tee is built on 100% cotton, 270GSM (8.0 oz).
That weight wasn’t chosen to sound impressive. It was chosen because it holds shape.
The fabric has structure. It drapes properly. It doesn’t collapse after a few washes. It feels substantial from the first wear and keeps that presence over time.
This is not a thin, promotional tee.
Fit & Structure
The cut is relaxed with a drop shoulder and traditional round neck.
The drop shoulder creates a natural, era-aligned silhouette — not oversized for the sake of trend, and not slim or fitted. Just balanced.
The collar is structured and built to hold shape. No flimsy ribbing. No stretching out after a few wears.
Fit isn’t accidental. It’s part of the design language.
Wash & Finish
Each blank is washed and finished to remove the “brand new” feel.
Subtle sunfade, controlled distressing, and depth in the black tone are part of the garment from the start. Minor variation is expected — that’s the nature of the wash process.
Nothing is artificially overdone. The goal isn’t to look destroyed. It’s to feel lived in.
Printing
Graphics are applied using Direct to Garment (DTG) printing with water-based inks.
The ink absorbs into the cotton instead of sitting heavily on top of it. That means a softer feel and better integration with the washed surface.
Print placement, scale, and density are adjusted per design so the graphic feels aligned with the garment — not pasted onto it.
Why It Matters
The garment is not just a surface for a graphic.
Weight affects drape. Structure affects silhouette. Wash affects tone. Print method affects texture.
REVERT uses specific 270GSM washed cotton construction because it supports the era-driven aesthetic the brand is built on.
Construction isn’t background detail.
It’s part of the design.
